Cancer Program at NSHOA is a multidisciplinary approach, which utilizes the expertise
of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, and nutritionists.
Our Practice features state-of-the-art technology and equipment for the diagnosis
and treatment of cancer, and our patients have access to the latest chemotherapy,
research and clinical trials.
The Diagnostic oncology services include CT Scan, PET Scan and Nuclear Medicine.
The GE Light speed RT16 System, a CT-based virtual simulator that enables physicians to map out precise
treatment sites with millimeter accuracy, is in use as well as two linear accelerators
and a three-dimensional mapping system.
Treatment options include a wide range of chemotherapy to radiation therapy, including
radioactive seed implants for prostate cancer and high dose rate radiation therapy.
Our facilities are staffed by dedicated oncology nurses, technicians and support
staff to make your treatment as smooth as possible.
