Shahid Nawaz, MD, FACP

Dr.Nawaz is a Board Certified medical Hematologist Oncologist. Dr. Nawaz is an attending physician with North Shore Hematology Oncology Associates since 2004. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar Pakistan.

He completed his residency in Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Nawaz is afilliated with Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, JT Mather Memorial Hospital, St. Charles Hospital and St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center. Dr. Nawaz is on staff and holds a teaching position as a clinical instructor in Stony Brook University Medical Hospital.

Dr. Nawaz is actively invoved in various clinical trials. He specialies in treating all oncological and hematological malignancies.

Dr. Nawaz and his family reside in the community.

Dr. Nawaz has an interest in thoracic tumors, GI tumors andlymphomas.
