Look Good Feel Better Program

NSHOA offers the Look Good..Feel Better Program in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, the Personal Care Products Foundation and the Professional Beauty Association/National Cosmetology Association on a monthly basis. Look Good..Feel Better is a free, non-medical product-neutral program offered in a group setting, to women undergoing active treatment for cancer. Trained and licensed beauty professionals teach women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using products in a gift tote bag valued at more than $250. To register for this free program call 1.800.227.2345. Lines are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

North Shore Hematology has been offering this free service since January 2007. In September 2009 the Facility was the recipient of the National Look Good..Feel Better "Hope is Beautiful" Award in support of the 20th Anniversary of the Program and in recognition of offering an "Outstanding Look Good..Feel Better Program" to patients.
