 Dr. Joan Dobbs is a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine, Hematology
and Oncology.
After receiving her B.S. at St. John’s University, Dr. Dobbs went on
to get her M.D. from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She did her residencies
in Pathology at Stanford University Hospital and Medicine at Montefiore Hospital.
Her post-graduate Fellowship in Hematology with Mount Sinai and Immunohematology
with Maimonides Hospital.
Dr. Dobbs has a faculty appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
with NY Medical College in Valhalla. Additionally, she has held the position
of Chief, Hematology/Oncology with St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center in
Smithtown.
Dr. Dobbs is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of
Clinical Oncology and the AMA.
Clinical Research – Dr. Dobbs has been active in several clinical studies.
